We had a fun Thursday night. A new Chinese buffet opened up right by our house. The grand opening was yesterday, but that's temple day so we went today instead. There were 4 of us: Jen, Susannah, myself, and our new and very fun friend Kirsten.
As dinner was ending we opened up our fortune cookies. They were pretty funny! On the back of each fortune was a "learn Chinese" word or phrase. Susannah got pretty good at it.

After dinner we posed for a picture just outside the restaurant. Susannah wanted to take one with the fountain water in it. Fancy.
Here's a shot of all of us. We ended up with some wet bums from all the splashing water.

Anytime you need a Chinese translator, you know who to call!! That is, as long as the traslation is provided for me to read of course.
I'm so Glad we had Kirsten there. I don't know what I would have done with out that translation and a really good laugh after a rough day at work
Susannah must have Asian blood to be able to speak so well. I'm glad to be able to see your blog again, I've missed it.
