Labor Day

I had to do a post about our fun adventures today!
This picture actually happened last night, but we were pretty impressed that Abraham did the dishes! Way to go!
We had people over at 2:00 and then headed to the little park area in our subdivision. We started with some sand volleyball.
Here's one of the action shots I took. Abraham versus his brother Ivan.
Cynthia made a bunch of marshmallow guns with little PVC pipes. Those things were pretty dang powerful. This little firing squad got me pretty good after this picture.
They got me even better after this one.
We played some water balloon volleyball afterward. Tatum took a bunch of action shots, but I had to put this one it - one of the weirdest pictures I've ever seen of myself. Hmmm.
Besides being labor day, we were also celebrating Nate's birthday. After we played games at the park, we had a BBQ, then ate cake and talked and played games until about 9:00 - plenty of time to get to bed! What a fun day!

I'm going to miss that Warr guy, too. I don't know why he was referred to as brain dead. From what I gather from the blog (and I know blogs) he seems like a pretty intelligent guy. I might even go so far as genius, but that's hard to say for sure, since I've never met him. Visiting him WOULD be a great way to get him some more blog time--and i think it goes without saying that we'd all like to see him get some more blog time. You should definitely make that a priority.

What a fun day. I miss playing volleyball with you like we did on our p-days. :( My mission was the last time I played an adult game of volleyball. How sad is that. Although we do own a volleyball net to put in our backyard, It's just not the same with a 4 and 2 year old...
