Christmas Antics

Depending on how well you know my parents, you may or may not know that they're both hilarious!
Here's my dad wearing the shirt I got him for his birthday. It's rare to get my dad smiling in a picture. Either he won't look at the camera, will look bored, or will make a face. Some of my current friends possess this same characteristic.
After Christmas dinner, my mom decided not to waste any of the leftover beverages. Don't worry, it's Martinellis!
Perhaps the thing that is currently the most entertaining is watching my parents play the Wii. They're actually really good at it. Here they are playing Excite Truck Racing - a game in which my mom has frequently "leveled up."
They're pretty competitive. Here, my mom is doing a serious turbo jump! We laugh when we watch, but we look just the same. There's video posted below of them playing.

For Christmas someone from San Angelo gave our family some Christmas crackers (not the edible kind). Inside each popper was a prize, a joke, and a beautiful tissue paper crown. Here we model our crowns. Even Ruffian joined in the fun. Don't mind us in our PJs on Christmas morning!

Looks like a fun Christmas. I found your blog on Eric and Wendys and thought I would stop and say hi!! You'll have to check out ours! Next time we are in Texas we will call. We had a blast there over Thanksgiving! Take Care!

Alona what a fun family! You and Susana are too cute! I love the tandem pics. It's pretty awesome that ya'll are roommates and teach at the same school.

Looks like Christmas was lots of fun! It's not exactly Christmas anymore but Merry Christmas. I didn't get around to texting yesterday so I'm trying to make up for it. :)

Looks like fun times! Your parents and your dad's expressions don't seem like they have changed much since 1991! I love the tandem bike too.

ok, so you know I'm trying to figure out a way for me to be part of your family. I'm still shooting for palygamy (sp) so you can marry jase and we can all spend time at the jeff bushman home. But I also got the great idea of me leaving Jase for Adam...whatta ya think? I think Jase would be ok with it after this month (note to self...never let inlaws come over...EVER!)

I love your mom's drinking pictures. I felt that same way last week. Bah humbug!!!! I'm done with the holidays forever! Ok, til next year.

Um, and who are your friends that make faces every time a camera is out? You should do a post of them all. That'd be fun to se ethe many face of Alonzia's funny faced friends.

See ya in a couple days!
