Well, Susannah and I finally got brave. We're finally leaving our continent. We've only had one other "out of country" trip. We visited Belize and Guatemala a few summers ago, but those are REALLY close compared to where we're going this summer!
Our friend Katherine is a big traveler. She's got a lot of family who live in different areas of the world. She planned a great trip for this summer, which we kind of invited ourselves on.
We actually leave on a different day than her. Katherine's headed to Greece for her first stop. We're going to England for about 4 days.
We will then meet up with her in EGYPT! She has lots of relatives that currently live in Cairo. We 're planning on doing a cruise on the Nile and doing lots of sightseeing.
We're also planning on heading over to Israel. I'm REALLY excited for this trip.

PS I have to amend my statement about only one out of the country trip. We also went to Mexico on a cruise! Oops! It was really fun, though!
Sounds like so much fun! I ahve been to England but none of the other places. You should take the chunnel over to Paris for a day! That is fun!!
How Exciting! Make sure you keep us posted with tons of pictures.
This is going to be so great! I am a little envious. How does green look on me?
Wow! Ya'll always do some amazing trips. I'm so excited for you. I'll have to travel vicariously. :)
That sounds like so much fun. Mind if I tag along? (I'm sure Jason won't mind staying at home and watching Abby and a newborn by himself!!)
How fun! I am so jealous!! I would love to take a trip like that!!
you stink! STINK!!! STINK!!!!!! I can freaking smell you from here....you stink!

i am SERIOUSLY jealous! That is great that you are doing this while you can. No other time is better. Definitely the perks of being a teacher. To be off in the summer to have the time to travel. You go Alona. You deserve it in every way. I know you will, but take LOTS of pictures. We want to come with you! =) Don't forget to make a pitstop through Utah. HA =)
If you go to the holy land, don't eat at the olive garden.
Thanks for visiting my blog. You look familiar. Looks like you have a fun vacation planned.
YOU STINK!
